Integrated stereo amplifier. The power amplifier section of the E-212 boasts excellent phase characteristics and smooth reproduction thanks to the highly renowned current feedback principle. In the output stage, a parallel push-pull arrangement of high-current power transistors designed for demanding audio applications is used, allowing the amplifier to drive even very low impedance loads with ease. The preamplifier section has its own power supply to eliminate interaction with the power amp circuitry. Three optional boards can make the E-212 even more versatile: A digital input board (DAC-10) with MDS (Multiple Delta Sigma) D/A converter allows direct input of the digital signal, a board for reproduction of analog records (AD-9), and the line input board (LINE-9). Specifications: Power output:115W/pc into 4 ohms, 105W/pc into 6 ohms, and 90W/pc into 8 ohms. Frequency response: High Level Input: 20Hz to 20kHz. Total harmonic distortion: 0.04% with 4 to 16 ohms load . Damping factor:100 (with 8-ohm load, 50 Hz). Gain: 42 dB (Unbalanced/Balanced). Tone controls (Turnover frequency and adjustment range): Bass: 300Hz; +/-10dB (50Hz) and Treble. 3kHz; +/-10dB (20Hz). Loudness compensation: + 6dB (200Hz, Volume: -30dB). Attenuator: -20dB.
